Yr Wyddfa Summer Solstice Walk

Something truly spectacular is happening this Sunday, 21st June — and if you're in North Wales, you won't want to miss it!

Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) Sunrise Solstice Hike is one of Wales' most beloved annual traditions. On the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year — thousands of walkers make the night ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) to witness the sunrise from the summit. It's breathtaking, and it's the kind of experience that reminds you just how extraordinary this corner of the world is.

Whether you're an experienced hillwalker or tackling for the first time, the solstice hike is a very special occasion. Just make sure you go well prepared — good boots, warm layers, a torch, plenty of water, and ideally set off a few hours before sunrise (around 4:52am on the 21st). The rangers and local walking community are wonderfully supportive, you can book someone to guide you https://www.mountain-walks.co.uk/.../snowdon-summer.../

Here at Bryn Morfa Caravan Park, we're less than 35 miles from Snowdon — and moments like this are exactly why so many families choose to own a static caravan holiday home on the North Wales coast. Imagine finishing the sunrise hike and heading back to your own holiday home for breakfast as the summer sun rises over Conwy Bay.

Since 1953, we've been helping families put down roots in one of the most beautiful places in Britain. If you'd like to find out more about owning a holiday home near Conwy, visit us at www.brynmorfa.com or pop in and have a chat.
